I barfed my lunch today. I had a cup of clam chowder. The broth and potatoes were fine, but the clams (being very chewy) turned to lumps in my pouchy. Take note: if you chew it for 1 minute and it stays the same, DON'T SWALLOW IT!!!!! This includes: oysters, clams, some mushrooms, and escargot (snails) which taste and chew like mushrooms. Lou Ann

Funny I just had Clam Chowder today and did the same thing. I only had two spoonfuls before I had to go to the ladies room, but I was able to have Campbels on the go Clam Chowder last week so I thought I would be okay. I supose it all depends on the type. Gook luck Jillian

I was fortunate not to have that happen. I know what you mean about the chewing, but I found the Campbell's soup to go version pretty safe since the clams are chopped up well. I find soup in general to be the safest thing to dine on when out in public. I feel better after a bowl, and that sick feeling my tummy gets after I eat normal food doesn't happen. I love soup
