Real Food
Tonight I just had to have some real food, you know something that I was craving, something that did not have to be pureed, mashed or doctored up. Guess What???????? I had Blackened Chicken caesar salad. Yep, I held it down. Oh, I only had a little bit but it really made me feel normal. I think it actually perked me up too!

Wahhhhaaahhhhaaaa.... I WANT TACOS!!! I tried taco salad (minus the lettace) at the hospital dining facility yesterday and it made me so sick. I know what it was too... ground beef. My body does NOT like beef yet. No matter what form I try it in, I get sick from it or it sits in my pouch forever and hurts until it passes. I MISS BEEF! Don't get me wrong, I love fish and chicken but dang.... i want beef!

I was released to soft foods at 4 wks and just released to eat meat and bread at the 2 month check up. I'm watching carbs because those seem to bloat me a bit. I've tolerated everything I've had so far. One thing I noticed is that my skin is clearer, my PMS is mostly gone and all of that is on top of the other health benefits. My resting pulse is down 20 bpm, 80. I regretted this decision for the first month to 6 wks but it's gotten so much better. Whew!
