Not losing, check in here!.............

I went for my 4 week check-up on Monday and was disapointed that I had only lost 17 Lbs, 15% of my excess weight... I was hoping for over twenty....even closer to 30....(sigh!) My doc says that I am right on target...So why am I unhappy? Most days I am eating as much protein as I was told to, but when I told my Doc how much I was eating he said it sounded like a little too much. I have been having 2-3 small meals a day and 1-2 protein drinks in between meals, and that is on a "Good day"! I could also do better with my water...It's hard to get it all in every day when you can only sip. Plus, water doesn't taste as good to me now as it used to. I used to be a really big water drinker. I do have to confess that I have not had the energy to start exercising yet. I have a treadmill, and before the surgery I would workout 3 times a week. I just don't seem to have the motivation.... I sure wish I had a workout partner! Or could afford to join a gym! Lanie.....270-17, 4 weeks

Okay, add me to the losing slow list. I had surgery on 1/25 and have lost a total of 21 lbs. I expected to lose 30 lbs, but oh well. I am going back to work on Monday and have decided to walk at least 20 minutes EVERY day on my treadmill. I also have some Jenny Craig workout tapes and maybe I'll use one twice a week. PRAY for me!
