Hi out there. I was just wondering if any one has added biotin to their diets to help reduce hair loss? My doctor did not mention it, but some of the people on the "Alabama board" recommend it. My hair is not that thick to begin with, so this is just another thing I'm concerned about. Dianne

Hi. I haven't tried biotin, but I do use Nioxin shampoo & creme rinse. Also, if you keep your protein intake up, you shouldn't have to worry too much. I myself don't have that much hair to begin with.

I started taking Biotin about a month after surgery and I'm going on three months and my hair is doing fine. I have been told to get your my vitamins and protein in and I won't have a problem with hair lose. Donna

YUP! I started taking biotin about 2 months out before my surgery and I have continued to take it. My nails have never been stronger. I wish I would have known about that stuff sooner! LOL!
