Hi everyone! I am new here. I just found this area of obesity help. Wow! I had LAP/RYN on January 12, 2005. My surgery was at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, Pa. I went in weighting 369, at my last appointment (Feb. 8th) I was down to 339. I haven't weighed myself since then because I think I will be obsessed with it. I am 26 years old, and in July I will have been married to my husband for 5 years. I am feeling great! I am getting myself esteem back and I just don't feel as fat as I look! I forget what people see and I think they see who I see I am. I guess that is good thing in a way. I have not been the most behaved person when it comes to my diet. I have tried lots of things that I know I shouldn't. Most things work ok in VERY SMALL amounts. I have found that sour apple Altoids settle my pounch, her name is Spazz. Spazz has been acting bratty for two days now. She doesn't like anything I give her. I have resorted to a liquid diet angain. Perhaps she will stop her rudeness. I am very thankful that I had this operaton and that so far things have went well. Nice to meet all of you and I hope to get to know you all very well!!

Welcome to the board and congratz on your loss so far! I am sorry to hear that Spazz is giving you grief... I know all about that. During week 3 I had a period of a few days were all I could keep down is liquids. THAT SUCKED! But these days I am doing fairly well as long as I remember to eat slow! LOL!
