Back/Side Pain?

I'm 3-1/2 weeks postop and still have times when I get some pain in my back and side on the left side. The pain is totally manageable, more of an annoyance than anything. How far out were you when this finally went away? Mary Ellen 1/31/05 -18 pounds

I always have back pain now and im 5 weeks out. I have no idea why this is. im sure it has something to do with our bodies changing shape.

I have been pain-free since about 4 weeks from surgery (give or take a day). Now and then when I sneeze or cough, it twinges above one of my incisions in the center, but this lasts less than 1 minute. It does not hurt at all other times, even when exercising. The doctor said it is still healing and should be better by six weeks. Sue R.
