Help, Its not feeling well!

Please tell me whats wrong, Five weeks out and I just started having sharp pains in the area under my insision. The one on the left side of the body. It feels swollen. thank you to you all for all your help.

Stacy, I had the same problem - it's the muscle where the scope went in, it will hurt for a while, and it's angry that you are moving more. You may even find a hard lump under where the pain is. As a nurse I even freaked out when I felt it and went to ER, they will give you a muscle relaxant and send you home. But to be sure I agree you should call your surgeon. Take care, hon. Denise

I hope you called your doctor, but I was having swelling under my incision. And the doctor said it was fluid. He drained the fluid, but it returned the next day. He said it will eventually go down, to keep a heating pad on it throughout the day, and to where my binder. The binder really helps! ~Kim
