:barf: Eggs?
Hi Syndi,
Yuk! I can't eat eggs or chicken! Two of what used to be (before surgery)my main sources of protein. Most everything else I've tried does just fine. If you ever have that feeling again or feel like your food is stuck, try this antedote: 1/2 tsp. adolph's tenderizer, 1tsp. lemon juice and 1 cup of water. I don't know exactly what it does, but it works. Sip the concoction slowly for about 30 minutes. I think I got half of it down when I felt a big difference. My dietician gave me this recipe and it is in my wls nutrition book. Hope it helps if you ever have a problem.

Hy Syndi!
Sorry to hear you are having trouble with eggs. Maybe it's the way you prepare them? Are you adding "extra" oil/grease to fry them? Maybe a different way to make them is what will help. I can't spray my pans with Pam. I had to buy a new non-stick skillet to make my scrambled eggs with. The oil upsets my stomach, but I can eat eggs prepared anyway, shape or form. Eggs are one food that I can eat very easily. However, I have eaten so many eggs in the last 4 weeks that I am sick of them! I am also tired of chicken broth, chicken noodle soup, Jello and protein drinks. I am trying to eat a larger variety of things, but my old "mindset" of things I don't like eating is standing in the way. I hope you get to feeling better soon.
