I am planning a madrigal dinner for next Christmas as a fundraiser for my choir. I have spent the last two hours planning the menu to make it authentic Renaissance, and yet practical. I have lovely dishes like:Welsh Rarebit, Roast Chicken and stuffing, Spice cake, and Wassail, along with soup in a bread bowl and sharp cheddar cheese and fruit. I know it will be a crowd pleaser. BUT..........I WON'T BE ABLE TO ENJOY IT!!!!!!!!!What have I done!!!!!!!It's too late to undo the surgery! I have lost 40 lbs. and more in the future. I am healthier than ever! BUT........I want to be able to feast on special occassions. WAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!!!:' (

Oh hun, by Christmas you will be almost a year out and you will be able to eat most of that stuff just in very small portions! All my friends who are 11 months to 18 months out eat practically ANYTHING and they are still loosing. Heck, a few of my friends are only 6-8 months out and have already reached their goal weight! BTW- IT SOUNDS YUMMY!!!! Jamie
