Hi All, I am feeling discouraged after reading so many posts where people are losing dramatically faster than me. I know, I know, everyone's different. In about 2 and a half weeks, I've lost 13 pounds. I see posts of 29 pounds in 3 weeks, 35 pounds in less than a month. Am I doing something wrong? Is there anyone else out there losing at a slower pace like me? --Jezzie

When was your surgery? If you are in the first month post op then you WILL have a week or two of slow losing. It just means you are due for a BIIIIGGGGG loss. Read some of my old complaints from two weeks ago. I was crying and depressed because I had not lost any weight. I was stuck for a week. Then today, I weighed in and lost 10 more lbs. This surgery works! Don't weigh; just measure with a tape. Inchs are melting off of you! Go shopping and plan your wardrobe. You will be buying a new wardrobe very soon. Lou Ann

Thanks Lou Ann for the support! My surgery was almost 3 weeks ago, on 1/24/05. I need to add that so it shows below my name but i'm not sure how. I will try to stay patient. --Jezzie

Not sure if the website has a way to do this (I have not found one yet) but I just copy and paste my stats for my "signature" line! I just keep it on my computer as a Word file and then I copy & paste it. HTH! Brightest Blessings for a Wonderful Day~ Jamie M. My surgery was almost 3 wks ago, three weeks on Tuesday the 15th Feb. And I also am loosing slower than other, and faster than others, I guess it just depends. I am down 21 lbs. But I have seen others that are down 30 in 3 wks, etc.. and I know of some down 40lbs inthe 1st month. Since we never really know how much of that is really FAT I can only presume some folks retain more water and have more water to loose. I really doubt that anyone can truly loose 40 lbs of fat in a month. So given that I think as long as you are losing that is the important thing. Plus as others have said the body is undergoing major changes and will slow down off an on while it catches up with things. I think you are going great!! Sandra 364/342.5/180
