Hey Brenda,
Congrats to you and welcome to the board. Doesn't it feel good to wear clothes that were tight before surgery. I had my surgery to days after yours and with complications I lost 37 pounds but I believe this was because of the complications. I am at a stand still now but inches mean a lot. I am also doing the puree thing and it is going well.

Congratulations Brenda for choosing a healthier life!!!! My surgery date was also 1/10/05. I had my surgery in Hawaii. My surgeon's name is
Dr. Paul T. Cirangle of San Francisco.
Like yourself, I have lost 32 pounds and am also doing approximately 20-30 minutes on my treadmill 5-6 times a week.
I wish I could be patient like you about buying a scale. Since we received one for Christmas, although I try not to weigh myself too often.
I know that it can become a habit.
I'm also on soft foods, although I don't normally feel hungry and actually have to force myself to remember to eat my three meals.
Welcome and let's all support one another in our choice to be on the
"losing side"
God Bless You and Yours.
Aloha, Pat from Hawaii
Brenda,
Welcome to the January forum and congrads on your recent surgery. I am 5 weeks out and had lost 17 pounds at my 3 week check up. I have decided not to use my scale at home. I'm going to let my clothes be the guide in how well I'm doing. Using the scale can cause a person to go So say to the scale because it can be from the lol.
Best wishes
Tammie G. loving WLS!
Hi Brenda -
Welcome to the board. It's so nice to have a place to go and share your triumphs and moans and groans with those who truly understand what you're going through. You're doing great!
I'm not even touching my suits yet, can't go there. I've been good and not constantly hopping on the scales. I'm just trying to get use to my new tummy. I call her Tizzy (hummmm I wonder why) and on her bad days I call her Taz, short for Tazmanien Devil.
Tizzy's been winning here lately, had me near to tears last week, but she's getting over herself (I hope). This is your home, so stop on by anytime!
