I haven't posted in a while. I have had a few complications and just have not felt like myself. I had to have an endoscopy procedure because when I healed adhesions caused the opening to my stomach to close and that used a tiny balloon to open it. I am feeling much like myself now just trying to get use to my pouch and the things I can eat. I have missed everyone and am glad everyone seems to be doing well. Narketta

Well hello Narketta it is nice to meet you. I am glad that you were able to find out what was bothering you and that you are "fixed" now. Good luck on trying new foods! Jamie

Narketta, I have been waiting to hear how you were doing. I am sorry to hear that you had a few complications and I glad you are doing much better. I am 4 weeks post op and at the end of pureed food. Yeah! I had no complications with my RNY. Email me if you would like some tips on how to do the pureed food. I have been able to enjoy pureed pork chops with mushroom gravey and potatoes, smoked ham with pinto beans and cheese, green beans, spinach, oatmeal, and cheese eggs with grits. No baby food for me. lol I will see my doctor on Thursday for a weigh in and I will move to stage 3-semi soft food. Take care of yourself and keep everyone posted on your progress. Tammie G. a new loser
