Tell us about your "Last Supper" pre-op

Mine was a two week international pig out. The final meal being the day before the "clean you out with phospha soda" day. I will always remember it fondly; not for the food, but because my hubby got a babysitter, and told me to "pick anywhere...damn the cost!" After, I regained consciousness, I decided not to take advantage of his love and generosity too much( The Ritz in New York and all the caviar and Lobster I can eat!!!!$$$$$$$). I suggested a quiet,little sushi bar where we could cuddle. A lovely evening. My husband is the best; hands down.Nobody can beat him for love and support (and flowers). Lou Ann

Ah, yes.....fried foods! Sigh My new joke is when someone suggests we go to an all you can eat buffet, I say " Naaaaa, I can't eat that much." Lou Ann

My husband is so supportive, he went out and bought a huge steak for "my last supper". And to prove he really loved me he bought mushrooms to go with it. He hates mushrooms and the smell and...hehehe He truly loves me. I love him. Marzie

I was really bad.... right before my surgery I was "back home" visiting family and I did the international pig out too! Then I cam e home and had all of my favorites (with an exception to a few places due to lack of funds)...LOL! Although I did have to do clear liquids for 2 days prior, so that kinda sucked! Mmmmmmm...... I miss and can't wait to return to my sushi, BBQ, fondue, cheese steaks, pizza....etc..... Brightest Blessings for a Wonderful Day~ Jamie M. Jamie, You are a sushi lover and fondue lover, too? Wow, pity we don't live in the same area or we could go pigging!! Sorry. That was my old tummy talking. New tummy says " Let's go clothes shopping in high priced chic stores and max our cards out!!" Hmmmmm, .................come to think of it.......both tummies need to shut up! LOL! Yes, we do have a Melting Pot. I live in the Clarksville, TN / Fort Campbell, KY boarder area.... we affectionatly call it Tuckessee! LOL! Anyways, I am about 1 hour from Nashville, TN and there is a great Melting Pot there! I love it! I cannot wait until I can go eat there again.... I will be such a cheaper date now! LOL! My six year old son loves that place too, he keeps asking when we can go to the chocolate place again... of course he has the metabolism of a hummingbird... he loves everythng high in cals! LOL! You know it is a really good thing that I don't use CC or I would be in trouble! LOL! I can already tell that I am finally gonna love shopping for the first time in my life! I so can't wait until next week when I can hit the pool again and really get in some cardio! Whoo-hoo! Jamie
