I was doing fine, a little tired, but fine. Then, all of the sudden.....I am craving every food I see on tv, on the road, or in the frig. Yogurt and soft stuff ain't ehough. I want to eat a fish! Or Cheese! Anyone else feeling this way after 2 weeks? Lou Ann

Hi Ladies, I have bi-polar tummy disorder (I made the name up). When my new tummy is filled, the old one carries on. It wants food, it's hungry, and just having a hard time understanding that it will no longer be needed. I made fish for dinner was able to eat it. I haven't had any food problems as of yet. I have even been able to turkey chili. I am getting tired of mushy-soupy food. The T.V. is a killer.... have you noticed that even non-food comericals have food in it?!?! You're not alone in your feelings! Jen

Boy how I can relate to both of you right now!! I feel like strangling anyone in my house when they start popping popcorn or baking cookies, which has all gone on in my first post-op week. I feel like the food lords are teasing me, trying to make me regret this. But you know what, I have lost 18lbs in one week so they can kiss a big one!! It is nice to see someone is feeling the same way though. We can get threw this, it is all worth it. Just remember how you pigged out before the surgury and how you ate everything you ever wanted (dont try to tell me you didnt, eveyone has the last supper or last feast for that last week of pre-op!!!) God bless and hang in there.

Ha,Ha,Ha, I am ROTFLMAO!!! Did I have a "last Supper"?!!!!!!! We went out to dinner every night for two weeks!!! We said good bye for now to : Mexican, Sushi,Italian, Thai, Middle Eastern, Indian, Steak, BBQ, Seafood, and Chinese. We even went over the border to have a farewell feast. So, here I sit, eating my carb control yogurt mush with protein powder. Do I miss all of that? You bet!!!!!! Like I would miss my right arm. Do I regret the surgery? NO WAY!!! I am no longer diabetic and I am 25 lbs. lighter in only 2 weeks. Okay,...tell the world about "your" LAST SUPPER! Lou Ann

I am two weeks out also and having cravings. So yesterday I went out and bought things that I am craving just in low cal, low carb varieties! LOL! I LOVE the Edge and low carb chips that Lays puts out! I am a huge Shrimp junky... I have a huge bag of them and they are all MINE! All I do is pull a handful out, thaw them in cool water and then cook them how I want or eat them cold with low carb ****tail sauce! YUM! I also keep popsicle brand sugar free pops, fuggies, and creamy center frozen treats for those sweet cravings. Have you tried filling things like refried beans, cream of wheat, oatmeal and stuff yet? I survive off foods like that! Oh and avacado.... YUM! Brightest Blessings for a Wonderful Day~ Jamie M. Yep I am so with you! But my tummy really is growling with hunger pains though. Real ones and I found out today I'm not eating enough so kool I'm actually being told to eat more! Wow never thought I'd hear that. I'm eating fish, had some Wendys chili today won't do that again too many onions, a 1/2 a salmon patti tonight for dinner I am doing good. Better than I thought I'd be at this point. I just had to make myself try things cause I was scared but so far so good! Your not alone just wanted to let you know!
