I had a run to the emergency room today. Rapid heartbeat, dizziness, fatigue. They took xrays, blood, and urine and then the doctor showed up and said I had a slight urinary infection and "drumroll..................... a vitamin deficiency!" DUH, dude. I ain't eating anything! Seriously, I have been taking a multivitamin faithfully each morning(chewable). Trouble is, it doesn't absorb into my body. Doctor recommended liquid vitamins mixed into juice. Just passing the word, folks. I am at home, now and fine. Lou Ann

I am relieved to know that oyu are better. I feel ya on the vitamins! What do they expect? Our stomach's the size of a thumb, and a big part of our intestines are not in use! I would love to get some liquid vitamins to put under my tongue for better absorbsion. When you are well enough to post, please let us know where to get those vitamins.

Thanks. My husband bought them at a heath food store. They come "tropical flavored". Yuk! Why can we WLS not find TASTY things? Must everything good for us taste like crud?!!!!! That is why I got fat in the first place!!!!!!!!!!!!! Nothing sacreligious against God intended, but I think he goofed when he made fat and sugar taste soooo good and celery and liver taste sooooo nasty! He also made the avocado pit too big; but that's another story. Lou Ann

Centrum makes a liquid multiple vitamin that isn't too bad. My trouble is finding a liquid calcium. Anyone find one out there let me know. Thanks

Lou Ann, I take the vitamist spray vitamins, plus a Liquid Calcium and Magnesium with Vitamin D. When I went back for my 2 week post-op appt. my doctor put me on 1000 IU Vitamin D for six weeks. It is a small gel tablet that goes down alright. There is also a liquid Centrum multi-vitamin you can get. Good luck and I hope you find what you need to get you back to normal. Charlene

I use the Vitamist as well. It' really great. They are more readily absorbed. I don't have any tummy upset from the chewable vitamins which I tolerated just fine pre-op. Oh well. What are ya gonna do. These buggers are expensive but my Doc gave me a free sample. Good luck to you ...
