Surgery Monday Morning

Thanks to all of you for all the well wishes and prayers. I'm on a countdown now and probably won't be able to post until I'm on the other side. I'm on my way to the store for toilet paper (bowel prep) starts at 12:00. So get that bench dusted cause HERE I COME.

Well Nancy, I am already best friends with my toilet. I had to start my bowel prep at 9a.m. Man, I thought that clear liquids was going to leave me hungry - but you know what? I've been a bit preoccupied to even bother. I am steadily going through my gatorade and water as prescribed. The chicken soup smells yummy (what a shame to only have the broth!). And my mental state is pure excitement and anticipation. I cannot wait to start this journey. Good luck to all who have surgery tomorrow!
