Surgery 1/312/05

I just found this board. I have surgery the last day of this month. I am so ready. I have been on liquids for 10 days now, just a few more to go. I am packed and just waiting. I am having open RNY and my gallbladder removed too. I'll post after I am back home. Keep me in your prayers. Thanks. Vickie

Good luck with your upcoming surgery. I hope it is uneventful, and that you have a speedy, healthy recovery. I had my surgery 1/24/05 (lap RNY) and it went very well.

Hi Vickie, Im in Washington state. I'm scheduled for a prox RNY on the 31st too! I check in at 9am and surgery is scheduled for 11am! Best of Wishes. If you see this email me today! [email protected]!

We are going to have surgery at the same time. Except for the time zones. I check in at 9 and surgery at 11. What is a prox RNY? I was born in Tacoma. That was 50 years ago. Have been in Mn for 49.7. Ha. Yes, lets keep in touch. I am packed and ready. Did you have to be on liquids for two weeks before surgery? I did. I tried to email you and I got it back. I will try again. Thanks for the post. You will be in my thoughts on Monday. How long will you have to stay in the hospital? I will be there until at least friday. Vickie
