I'm home and doing well, thanks to everyone for their support

I had surgery on Tuesday the 25th around 1pm. The Surgeon said I was a text book case. All went well. I was up Tuesday evening walking around the wing of the hospital. Wed the 26th was a little rought, as I had a bad reaction from a mucle relaxer which was suppose to help the backache it was awful. But by Thursday I was doing fine. I came home Thursday the 27th around 4pm. I am sore like a truck hit me, and I have some discomfort right in the middle of my chest and especially when I belch from the gas, but I am told this is normal healing. So now the mending begins. Hi Sandra- Welcome Home! I had my surgery on Friday and went home Saturday (with a little fever) but rested much better at home. I also felt the same pressure from the gas, but I still feel like someone is sitting on my belly. I am sure that they gave you lots of IV fluids, and all I keep reading is to do your best to keep up with your fluids. I know it is hard sometimes to drink even water. I think I am going to get a holster for my water bottle. Good Luck with your healing Theresa
