I am now officially post-op

So, I had surgery on Wednesday January 19th & I'm home!!! I got out yesterday Friday the 21st. Not in pain @ all, a little discomfort from gas but thats about it. Saint Barnabas is amazing, they were very caring and did their jobs amazingly & I certainly can not say enough about Dr Bilof, he was AMAZING! I'm actually shocked that I have no cravings for my old fave foods. The hubby and I went to Drug Fair to get my prescriptions filled & walking past snikers, ect I didnt want any. Still eating my jello (found I like orange the best) and I guess with all the snow that New JErsey is getting today, I'm just going to catch up on the sleep I lost in the hospital!!!!

Amie, Congrads and welcome home. I glad you had a wonderful experience with this surgery. I give high marks to the team (doctor and nurses) that provided my care while in the hospital. This surgery is the best! I'm doing so well that I will return to work on Monday-3 weeks after my surgery. Best wishes as you heal and start to lose. Tammie G. new loser
