3 days till surgery...

Well it's almost time, it has been moving very fast since I went to my 1st seminar on Jan 7th, and here a mere 6 wks later I am good to go. It took 4 hrs of research, but once I made my mind up now it has really moved fast But I am positive I will be fine, come thru everything with flying colours. Please keep me in your prayers on Jan 25th my surgery day. Thanks gang.. Sandra 364 / ?? / 180

I am also scheduled for Jan 25. Clear liquids start tomorrow. Mine hasn't been fast. I've been through months of testing. I told my surgeon he had me tested for everything from dandruff to athlete's foot! But I'm grateful he has given me every possible chance for success. Good luck with yours and stay in touch.

Thanks Sandy.. My doctor only requires me to me on a liquid diet the day before, like soups, and then I begin taking the Colyte at 4pm to clean the colon. But I beleive tomorrow I will be staying on a liquid diet for the most part myself just to ensure the cleaning out will not take as long. I do not have to drink the whole gallon of Colyte if my stools are clear. And since I hate Colyte, I am doing what I can. Best of luck to you too on Tuesday, I know we will both be right as rain soon enough.

Hi Sandra, My surgery date is also the 25th. I am having open RNY Distal. I have a real peace about it and have faith that everything will go well. I will add you to my prayers for a swift and problem free recovery. God Bless Terri
