Back to work

anybody getting advice when you can go back to work? i have a couple of important meetings this week i would like to sit in. im 4 days post op and seem to be doing OK. i asked the surgeon and he said "as soon as you feel up to it, as long as you don't drive" any thoughts? :=S

I'd say go for it, if you want to. If you are just sitting in a meeting, and not doing a lot of running around, you should be fine. Just take your water in with you - will they laugh when they see you come in with a sippy cup?!?!?! My post op appointment is Thursday (10 days post op), and if he says I can drive (since I am not on pain meds anymore), then I will be going back to work A.S.A.P.!! I don't have many more sick days to use!! Good luck!! Amanda
