Hi Ron, There are a FEW of us out here... Hope your surgery went well as you'll be going in as of this writing. Will put in a few words to the Great Spirit for you. I JUST got home myself from open RNY, went in last Tues. for a class which was GREAT and put on very good with great info. Stayed in hotel next door and went in the next morning for surgery. I spent 2 1/2 days in ICU cause of my sleep apnea, my oxygen gets very low. Don't remember the first 2 days at all, but the 3rd comes around pretty good. DID NOT like the air tube in me and DID NOT like it when they had to take it out..... Went up to my reg. room then and got some more GREAT CARE by all on the 2000 floor at Sioux Valley Hospital in S.D. From ICU to 2000 floor I've got nothing but the best to say of all there.... and a very big THANK YOU for all help and care giving to me. Also for the care and help given to my wife while she was there supporting me. I think she went through a HARDER time of it then I did. It hurt me to see her hurting... Just wish I could give her something big for all her worries, sleepless nights alone in a hotel. They were great at the hospital, she could have stayed in my room but it was she needed to get away from there and think of other stuff. Sorry to go on here... hope to hear from you when you are able to get back on line...
