I have a date 1/18/05

I am so glad I finally have a date. I'm having it at the Barix's clinic in Langhorne, PA. Dr Brader is performing my surgery. I was afraid at first because I couldn't too many people that had lap rny. Also I couldn't find anyone who had Dr. Brader recently. I finally found few. I'm going to trust God. I'm praying for eveyone who making this life change.

Hi, congrads on your surgery date. Mine is also Jan 18th. Very excited to get to this point but also very nervous. I am having mine done threw The Wish Center in Middletown, OH. You will be amazed at how many people around you who have had the surgery as days go by. I wish you the best of luck and hope that you have a speedy recovery. Take care and God Bless. I will join you on the 18th also! Now I have been so concerned with just staying healthy. Seems like everyone at work and in town has the flue or colds. My hands will be raw with washing. Best wishes for all Elisa

I'm the 18th too!!! CONGRATS!!

It looks like my surgery will be postponed. I had a bad tooth ache ending up having an infection in my gum. I'm in a lot of pain. The dentist gave me penicillin which caused my throat to close up. I ended up in the emergency room on Friday all day. I called Barix's clinic before I went to the hospital and left a message. They never called back. I was given steroids plus other medications while at the hospital. Steroids is one of the medications they told me I couldn't have 2weeks before the surgery also no infections. My TSH level from my thyroid was 0.21L . The emergency room doctor called my endocrinologist herself to make sure they could treat me for this right away. I have to go there on Monday morning. After I leave there I will call Barix's clinic again and see if they could change my date from the 18th to next week sometime. I'm not gonna get down about it. I thank you all for your emails and post. It has been encouraging and a huge blessing. I will keep you up dated and keep you all in my prayers.
