1/31/05 Surgery date.. here in Iowa

I can hardly wait... Have been doing doctor appts. only since November... had all my information faxed in on a Friday and was approved 5 days later. Any suggestions or ideas to help me out would be great. I will be having surgery at Mercy Capital in Des Moines, Iowa with Susan Beck, surgeon.

Hi Bj, Just remember...If God carries you to it, then He will carry you through it. Just keep the faith! Thank you for the sweet encouraging note. You will go through a flood of emotions before now and then. My suggestion: STAY POSITIVE and don't let negativity affect you. There will be some out there that may even tell you "they hate you". I just tell them, "Well, you will just have to hate me". There will be a lot of jealousy. My best friend, who wears a size 8 and is 50 years old, has started on the Atkins Diet. What is the deal???? I JUST WANT TO BE HEALTHY! If I end up beautiful, , then what a wonderful plus. I tell everyone, I'm trading fat and flab, for skin and sag. I want to feel good and learn how to enjoy life again.
