3 Days, and one wake up!!!!

3 days, and one wake up till my big day! I am excited, it had not really hit me until today I went for pre-op. It hit me like a ton of bricks today, but there is no turning back now!!! It is full speed ahead! Thanks for listening! Rhonda

PooBear, That's great!!! I almost feel like I had cold feet, like I was getting married again! It's crazy but I know after working toward this for over 2 yrs I have to stay strong!!! Its always good to know you are not alone! I will keep you in my prayers, see ya on the other side! Rhonda

Rhonda, I had preop the same day you did and I had the same feelings. I thought to myself this is REALLY going to happen. The 2 preop nurses were great and very encouraging. Both ladies were postop and skinny! One nurse was 1 year post op and had lost 147 pounds and the second nurse was 9 months post op and had lost 141 pounds. Both ladies were over 300 pounds at surgery. I have to be a the hospital on Monday at 6:00am with DH. I will be in the hosptial until Wednesday if there is no complications. I just cleaned out my closet of old clothes that will not fit the new me. Today is my last day at wor****il February 1st, so I'm everything so it will go smooth. Going shopping tonight to get 2 weeks of liquid/yogurt items to drink/eat. Taking sippie cups and baby spoons with me to the hospital. Tomorrow is the bowel prep for 2 days and I have my shoes ready to start to the toilet. Surgery day will be here real soon . I'm so excited I can't go to Best wishes to you on Monday.
