less than a week to go

Here it is less than a week to go before my January 3 date. I cant help but feel real nervous, does ayone have any wonderful words of wisdom or encourgment. THanks......

I don't know that I have a lot of wisdom.. But I am sending my prayers and blessings to you as you go to surgery.... I know as the time grows nearer for my surgery I get more nervous (I still have three weeks), but I believe a Higher Power has things in control.... You have made an important decision for your life and I believe you will go into your surgery with positive thoughts and a calm mind. Read things and listen to music that soothes you.... Your state of mind is important as you go into this important time... Take time for YOU... You are about to undergo a life altering experience meant just for you, and you deserve it. Kathleen I dont have any words of wisdom but my date is Jan 3 also. I always say " if God brings me to it, he will bring me through it". I'm not frightened and am trying to keep a positive attitude; I was told that this was the most important thing, to go into surgery positive. We only have 5 days left, I will be praying for you gal!

Dear Kim, Thank You so much for your kind words. You are so right. This is such a big moment in our lives, but I know its' the best decision I can make, as you know with you. I will say a prayer for you, also. I dont think too many people saying prayers will do as any harm, only good. This has been such a complex and emotional time.
