January 20th!!! Yes! I'm Ready!

I just found this message board. Hello everyone. I have my date Jan 20. I will start my pre-op on Jan 3 and will see the specialists (heart, lung, vascular) that week as well as have a scope done by Dr. Shina. On Jan. 6 I get to start a clear liquid diet to shrink my liver. That piece of news was a real shock to me but I am adjusting to it now. I know the time will fly by once the holidays are past. Dear Karen, I am also scheduled for the January 20th with Dr. VonReuden! I have gone to the Nutrition Class and the support group meetings, but I wasn't told about the clear liquids prior to surgery ? Just that we were to diet. If I don't run into you before, we'll probably see each other on the 20th. I will be praying for you, please keep me in your prayers as well. God Bless

Dear Karen, Ooops! I thought this was Dr. VonRueden's message board (Maryland) -- I know see that we're states and dr's apart. -- so maybe I won't be seeing you, but I will still be thinking and praying for you!
