My surgery date is Jan 7, 2005

My name Gene, I have been battlling the bulge for a long time. I tried several diets but allways gain back plus. Now it seems out of control. My approval went rather quicky and amaze how soon it is coming up. A little about me. I have a family of 3 boys and 1 girl ranging from the age of 26 to soon to be 18 year old. I been married to my best friend Carol 27 years. I looking forward to be with a her another 27.

Hi Gene! I too have been battling the bulge for most of my life. I am 40, and have a 3 and a 5 year old. I want to see them grow up, and be able to be active with them. I'm with you on the lap-band. Seems like the least radical way to go. I am scheduled for January 12. God bless you and best wishes for a quick recovery. I hope post-op life is as good as we think it will be!

Hi Jose Went to a seminar on lap band last night and glad I did. They showed the entire surgery and explain the diferent type of gastric surgery. It really looks like lap band is the way to go. Lap band just takes longer to get to the goal. I wish you the best in your surgery. God bless.
