Poll- 2 years post op, how much have you lost? Gained?
Aloha, its been two years for us just wondering how we are all doing. If you don't mind please answer the following questions-
1) starting weight
2) lowest weight
3) current weight
4) how many ounces can you eat
5) apprx calorie intake
6) how much do you excercise
7) how much water a day
8) anything you still can't eat
9) Back to old habits
10) Are you still trying to loose, if so how much
I'll go first
1) starting weight 312
2) lowest weight 152
3) current weight 175
4) can eat 10/12 ounces
5) average 1600/1800 a day (some days way more if having a bad day)
6) twice a week but active lifestyle
7) 80 ounces a day (goal is 100)
8) can eat everything but just gave up sugar, dairy and wheat
9) was eating late at night but trying hard to break that
10) Yes, want to loose 10 to 15 pounds
1) starting weight 310
2) Lowest weight 163
3) current weight 163
4) can eat about 12 oz. if soft, about 6oz of meat or thick stuff.
5) about 1200-1600 (also depending on my day!!)
6) Never, but really should!!
7) about 50 a day, but I drink coffee ( i know its a no-no) all day long!
8) can east everything accept ice cream, and for some reason, chinese food makes me hurl!
9)still trying to break that one! Let night eating is BAD!! But it's hard to stop!
10)Yes, I want to lose 20 more pounds. I am 5'2". Maybe if I was 6 inches taller, I would be ok!

5) apprx calorie intake: some days 1700/ some day you don't really knows
6) how much do you excercise : for the last month nothing
7) how much water a day : 100
8) anything you still can't eat: paper and rocks ( I can eat everything, that is why is rough)
9) Back to old habits : snaking junk food in front ok TV
10) Are you still trying to loose, if so how much : yes 25 to 20

Hi Vanessa, thank you for posting. You and I are in the EXACT same boat. I also want to get down to 165 at the highest but ultimate goal is 155 and I currently weigh 179. That is quite a considence. I too can eat anything. It is so hard being this far out and able to eat anything. I am just literally taking it one day at a time. Thanks for shairng

Dear I will do it like you. one day at a time.
I need to get back to up my protein and get down the carbs and snack. ON march 31 here in Germany is the ARMY Logistic Ball and we are going, This will be my 1st time in a formal dress and I really want to get at least to 170 before the dance. I am going to start here a log every day . Food intake and moving to loose , I need the motivation.

Wow, how exciting to go to a fancy ball and get all dolled up. I wish we had an event like that where I live. You can do I know you can. I just started doing fitday.com again today. I am going back to all the things I did at the beginning to get me at goal. I remember once I started doing fitday the weight flew off. So thats what I am doing again. Like you said. 5) apprx calorie intake - don't know, don't count them
6) how much do you excercise - not much - try to walk some every day
7) how much water a day - 50-60 oz., plus lots of coffee
8) anything you still can't eat - i'm not adventurous with food. still stay away from sugars and breads
9) Back to old habits - no, but the temptation to eat when stressed is always there
10) Are you still trying to lose, if so how much - want to lose 13 lbs as that would get me to the NORMAL range in bmi
Aloha Deb, thanks for sharing in the poll. Looks like you were able to maintain your lowest weight too. That is great. It seems we are all doing about the same which is wonderful. Most of us struggle with the excercise thing as well which is comforting that I am not alone. My first year I was so diligent. Thanks again for sharing and best of luck to you on your last 13 pounds.
