Well at 2 years I am down 172 pounds. I lost half of my self, I am not weighing between 176 and 182. I would love to get down 20 more lbs, and am working on that. I like many find I need to workout more, but I have taken many strides that the larger me never would have. I have had my arms fixed and am saving for my legs next. I am now ready to start a family, I finally feel healthy enough to. I have more fun in life then I thought I could. I opened up to the world, made freinds, and learned allot about me through this. I have never once regreted my choice, and only wish I did it sooner.

Tracy, Glad you started this thread. I am glad to see us all still working on ourselves. I am maintaining at my goal of 125. As this is my 2 year from wls it is also 1 year out from plastics. I check the scale weekly and have been doing great. If I see any up on the scale of 3 lbs I eliminate carbs for a day or 2 and come right back to 125. So life is good for me. Hugs to all MJ

HI again MJ!!!! Just replied to you on the Grad's Board, but I wanted to say that weighing is my maintenance plan too. I do a daily weigh in so I know exactly where I am from day to day and I monitor the natural fluxuations that go on with my body (like around that time of the month, etc). I have found it very helpful and like you, if I gain a few pounds, then I get on top of it right then! Congratulations again! Tracy B 328/150 5'9"

Hey fellow January buddies! My 2 yr anniversary is the 31st of this month and I am doing good. Highest weight was 280, preop was 255 and up until a couple of months ago was staying between 157 - 160 pounds. I did go up to 164 pounds after starting antidepressants in October and then holiday snacking, but am getting back on track and today weighed in at 161 pounds. I weigh at least 3-4 times a week and that helps me keep track of where I'm at. Due to a lot of work stress and travel I really slacked off on exercise but am recommitting myself.....started water aerobics this week and need to add some strength training. My surgeon was pleased with my weight at the 157-160 range and doesn't want me to lose anymore, but of course I'd like to get down to 150. Not sure my body will agree with that, but hey, a girl can dream! I'd love to have a tummy tuck as I've got a lot of skin & underlying fat in my panni, but insurance won't cover it. Sometimes I still feel really fat because of that panni...it's a constant reminder, but when I get in those ungrateful moments I put on the jeans I wore the day of surgery and that helps to put it all in perspective. I sometimes get a little scared about the amount of food I can eat now. Some days I fill up really quickly and other days I feel like a bottomless pit. Anyone else have that? Still do 2 protein drinks a day and continue to have problems with fibrous veggies and foods. Why are Wheat Thins so much easier to eat than broccoli? lol I need to post a new picture as the one on here was 6 months postop!! Mary Ellen

HI Mary Ellen! Congratulations on all of your success! I too have days like you've described~some days I eat very little, some days seem "normal" and there are those days when I'm a bottomless pit! Its weird and a little scary! I love wheat thins too, LOL! Let us know when you post a new pic so we can check it out!!!!! Hugs, Tracy B
