I often turn alot of people to this website and let them know how supportive it is. I have been right all along at least until the 12th month and then it seems that all of the wonderful people who were so loving and supportive, not longer needed the support and want to give any. I wonder why that has happened. Did alot of people forget where they were and are they not needing the support? Everyone still needs a online hugg or a caring ear. I will be here if anyone needs either. Please try and remember that we can help others and each other and ourselves. Hope to see all of you online again. Hugggs and blessing from God, stacy

Hi Stacy, I too was thinking the same thing. I have been on the board reading but there hasn't been much posting going on. I have been struggling with my weight loss since 11 months post op. I have not lost any weight since then and it is very frustrating. I am only at 60% lost of my excess weight and about 40 lbs away from my personal goal. This website was a saviour to me in the beginning but I am always afraid to post about my problems for fear of getting slammed. It seems to me that everyone that posts lately only talks about how well they are doing. Thanks for the reminder that not everyone is going without struggles. Kimmie

Hi Stacy! I totally agree with you! That's the reason for my posting my message calling all January, 2005 post ops. I really miss the support and friendship of everyone. I was hoping to possibly get more people to post again so that we could once again have that connection. I did get quite a number of responses, which I really did appreciate. I was hoping I guess for a lot more. Let's stick together and as you said give support and caring to those who might need it. I really do miss those who used to post on a regular basis. It was nice to come to a place where you knew that there would be someone who would listen to you. I hope more people will hear their calling. Have a wonderful week Stacy!!!! God Bless you and yours!! Love and aloha, Pat

I would love to see more posting going on here. I unfortunately did not find this board until last fall, and I do not know a lot of the people on the board here. I find a lot of support on my state boards, but would love to hear more from people that are the same length out as me. Sometimes hearing about the starting of the process over and over again gets a bit boring although I love to be able to talk to some of the pre-ops and help them through their tough time. Maybe if it is just a couple of us we are start getting some messages going again Suzanne 300/150

Hi Stacy! I know what you mean~it's been REALLY quiet around here lately! I've been hanging out at the Grads board mostly, but I always check in here, PA board and the main board. I'm like you~I will always be here to support anyone in anyway. Hugs, Tracy B 328/153 5'9"

Stacy, I haven't forgotten my Jan. buddies, but I'm hanging out on the plastic surgery & grads board more than anywhere else. I try to check this board about once a week but since I had my first ps in March & my 2nd ps is scheduled for 6/27, I've spent most of my limited online time doing ps research. However, I'm only an e-mail away if you ever want to "talk"! Vickie J.
