Topic: 1 Year Anniversary Today....
Well its been a year since my rebirth and I feel and look damn good. Its been a long Journey. I have not lost as much as I should but I am happy being 85 pounds down. I started at 285 and now I am at 200 pounds. I have been stuck there for 4 months now. I am not complaining. I no longer have to take blood pressure pills or any pills for my cholestorol. Gerd is much less. Thank goodness. My energy level is so high right now. I can do things that I have not done is so long. I just want to let you guys know that I appreciate the support that has come from this group. I am just sorry that I have not been there for most of you. I tend to post here once in a while and I would really like to change that. Thanks again for your support. Check pics on profile

Hi Kelli, Today is also my one year anniversary. I am 157 lbs too, and have lost 110. I had hernia and tummy tuck in November, and am recovering nicely. I am having vein ligation nxt week, my varicoise veins have gotten worse. Please feel free to e-mail me with any questions about the hernia and tummy tuck. I had two hernias, the abdominoplasty(muscle repair) and panni (tummy tuck) all done at the same time by the surgeon that did my gastric bypass. Take care! Lark Johnson

Well it has been some time scince I have been here. My life has changed so much in the last year. I am down 90lbs and I think I have stopped. I am okay with that I guess. A year ago I wore a size 20 or 22 and now I can wear 4 or 5. Who would have imagined it. My marriage has been slowly dissolving due to his inability to trust me and his own self esteem problems. Not that I blame it all on him because I do shoulder some of the blame as well. I just wanted to update everyone and say congrats to all and keep up the amazing work! Stacy
