Awesome melting job. Gotta love those little things that now make us feel great instead of miserable. Dawn -119

I am still 20 lbs from goal. However I feel great and am doing fine. Its just the ugly sagging skin I am lookin at now. But I feel the need to get more exercise before seeing a surgeon. Have been slackin off since the snow started. Dawn -119

Topic: GOAL? AT GOAL?
How many of us are at goal? OR near goal? I have been reading the main board and noticed that so many people are at goal by about 9-10 months and I am still 30 pounds from goal. So I am curious as to how many of you are at or how close you are to reaching your end goal. Thnaks for sharing! ~Sandy Vock

Topic: RE: Diarrhea
I am not drinking protein shakes and I am not lactose intolerant. I know I get sick if I eat something that has very much fat content. I don't eat fried food or very high fat content because it also makes me throw up. I had IBS before surgery and I am taking medicine again for it. Thanks for your answers. Pat

i'M A YEAR OUT NOW. BUT IN THE BEGINNING I HAD AN ISSUE WITH DIARRHEA. IT'S MUCH BETTER NOW. THE FIRST FEW MONTHS WERE A LITTLE TOUGH. I HAD IBD BEFORE SURGERY. I STILL DO BUT IT IS MUCH LESS FREQUENT NOW. I DO HAVE A SWEET 1-2 TIMES PER WEEK. I DID NOT EAT ANY SUGAR FOR THE FIRST FEW MONTHS AFTER. ARE YOU LACTOSE INTOLERANT? THIS MAY ALSO CAUSE YOU SOME DISTRESS. HOPE YOU ARE FEELING BETTER! BARB

Michele, I also have the same problem. I am glad to see that it is not just me. My family thinks I am crazy, because I wear tons of layers of clothes and then cover up with a big warm blanket. My feet stay frozen. I also can't wait for summer to thaw out....LOL Mellisia 342/209/170

Dense protein is foods like tuna, meats, etc. You can get protein from other sources like bars, drinks, etc. but the dense ones will keep you from getting hungry longer than the others. Sandy -117

I also freeze most of the time. I usually have an electric throw that I keep over me when I watch TV. Tonight I have on socks, and a sweatshirt. My son does not have on a shirt. I am not sure why but I also stay cold. I constantly run a small heater in my office. Sandy -117

HI Michele, I am also cold all the time. I am wearing sweat shirt, over my sweater, right now. I wrap up in blankets all the time. Luckily I dont have to share an office so I keep mine warm. Most people that come in it complain that it is to hot in there. All I know to do is keep adding layers. I was told that it is because of the dramatic metabolism change over a short period of time. That was about 5 or 6 months ago, but I have never warmed up. I am looking foward to summer. Let me know if you get any other information.
