Topic: RE: Getting arms done! Woo hoo!
Congratulations on your decision!! I can certainly understand your dilemma about the additional surgery. I just got through with Tummy tuck and breast lift with augmentation and it was extremely scary for me. Not that anything went wrong I just freaked about the whole thing and remember waking up while they were bandaging me up and actually asking aloud the doc why the hell i did this. There was a little pain involved....ok alot but not the breast part the tummy part..Ill be 2 weeks post op wednesday and now believe it was worth it. If nothing else I have been totally smoke free for 6 weeks since i didnt want any anethesthia complications. as soon as i heal in a few moew weeks im having arms and legs done...My husband is excited for me. GOOD LUCK and keep up the wonderful work!

Wow! How did you do it? You have lost an incredible amount of weight and I STILL can't hit the century club! You look fantastic! I will post my pics when I have my arms done, I am looking forward to being able to wear short sleeves and not have my arms flapping in the wind.

Topic: I think I found out why I'm stuck!
My regular Dr. told me that Polycystic Ovary Syndrome is a main contributor to obesity, and may be why I have been on a plateau for so long. She also told me that they can lead to diabetes later in life so now she has me on glucophage, to try and combat it.![](http://images.obesityhelp.com/mbgraphics/emoticons/zap.gif)
Anyone out there have a similar problem? I would love some input. I have been the reining Plateau Queen for too long now!
Thanks

Well, I broke down and decided that my arms were definately causing me more grief than any other "visible" part of my body so I decided to go ahead and self pay for the surgery. I have locked in the date of April 13th with the surgeon. I go Tuesday for my consultation. I am so excited and trying hard not to weird out about having surgery again. (I freak out about the anesthesia). My hubby and I have booked a cruise to the Bahama's this June and I have bought some darling outfits. Sadly most of them are sleeveless. I kept staring at my saggy, hanging arms thinking how they were just going to ruin the whole "look". I am so excited about having this done. I am going to see how much everything else will run, just in case I ever hit the lottery! LOL! I'll keep you posted and hopefully have some pics once the procedure is done.
