Where is everybody? I miss hearing from everybody!! I went to the Doctor on monday For my check up. Everything went great. Should get blood work back next week. I also had a Wisdom tooth pulled that same day. To make things worse that day I lost one of my rings. It was getting loose, and I lost it somewhere. I'm bumed. Oh by the way I am down 70 pounds now.

Yee Haw, I hit the 200 mark today. The elusive 199 can't be too far behind. Can't wait to see it.....it's been 15 years. So my total lost is 72 pounds since last May when I started my journey, and 63 since my surgery in January. I will be happy with another 40. How is everyone else doing on their weight loss? Let's have another January roll call with weight lost. Hope everyone is doing well. Blessings to all!!!

Topic: RE: Calories/Protein/Carbs?Excercise??
I can sympathize with you because I am going through the same thing. My surgery was 1/20/04. I eat between 500-800 calories (average 650), aim for 60 gms of protein and try to keep my carbs below 20 gms, exericse 3 days a week on treadmill 30 min and 2 days a week on weight machines 30 minutes. I also do an exercise on tape at home some nights "Walking off the pounds" or something similar. Post op weight loss 51 lbs, pre-op loss 58 lbs. I've had two weeks in the last six weeks that I lost -0- lbs. Two weeks ago I lost -0- lb and last week 1 lb. I think we are just going to have to be patient but it's hard. I've read any kind of change is good when the loss stops. Maybe you could take three 15 minute walks a day (temporary change) instead of the 30 minute and cut your carbs back to 20 gms for the next week. Think about any changes you can make in your routine. We have gotten through all the insurance paperwork, surgery, learning to eat again, we can get through this too. We'll just have to hang tight. Best of luck!
