Topic: Finally feeling good
We finally have our answers as to why I was sick so much and feeling cruddy all the time!!! I had my gallbladder removed Thursday evening. A Cat Scan Wednesday night confirmed I had numerous Gallstones. When my surgeon was taking the gallbaldder our Thursday, he found I had a stone approximately the size of a half dollar lodged in the corner of my gallbladder that neither the CAT Scan or the ultrasound picked up. I cannot believe how much better I feel even though I just had another major stomach surgery. I had some soup last night and some yogurt this morning and neither hurt my stomach and I did not get sick!!! Now I can concentrate on getting back to losing weight!!! Thanks for keeping me in your thoughts and prayers. -Michele

I mix benefiber in my drinks and soft foods.......or eat some prunes through the day............ I do not have problems anymore with my bowel movements.......... You hear alot about getting your protein in but they do not tell you that you need the fiber to go with it! I am glad that you are doing great!

Way to go Christine. Congradulations on the 75 pounds gone forever. Arnt the complements nice! I have no regrets either. What are you taking for your bowels? I drink prune juice and use befiber powder. I am so glad you are enjoying your life again and that you feel great. Again way to go!!!

I would definately be a sterling rose. Roses are gorgeous, smell wonderful and the color on this is so beautiful! It's like a silvery lavender. Shades of purple and lavender are my favorite colors so it just goes to reason! Kim R/az

Kimberely, Someone once said, "You can't please everyone!" Just know that you are in charge of your life and you have taken control of it and done a very good job. I do understand where you are coming from though. I had my surgery in January. My mother is severely overweight. She was denied for the surgery so that's another issue. She and my grandparents keep telling me that I did it the easy way and my mother's weight loss is the hard way and that I should admire her for it! You have major surgery and see how easy it is, I want to tell them! I did this for the same reason you did though, for my health. That and the fact that I was starting to get concerned that I wouldn't be there to watch my children. Now I know that this way is just as much hard work as any other way! You still have to have a healthy diet and exercise with the surgery so in fact, we work twice as hard! Good luck to you and I hope they see you for you and all of your hard work that you've accomplished. Marla

Hey January Jumpers! How's it going??? This is such an awesome ride - isn't it? Since May is supposed to bring flowers - here's a question for you. What type of flower would you be if you could choose just one? Tell us why... I would be a lilac - the lilac is a beautiful shade of purple and smells heavenly. My sense of smell is very keen so the scent of lilac reminds me of a fresh, springtime morning. Barbie 281/229/150ish

Goodness Harriet! Why on earth do you think you are a slow loser? You are almost down 100lbs in just under 4 months! My goodness - I weighed less, and still don't weigh anywhere near what you weigh! I hope I could lose that "slow"! Keep up the good work and start sharing your secrets girl! Barbie 281/229/150ish
