Topic: RE: How many CALORIES NOW???
I'm not sure of my calorie intake either. My surgeon tells us not to stress over it, but to make sure we eat no more than 4 oz per meal and get in as much protein as possible. I am curious, though, so I think I'll go plug it into Fitday for a few days.

I get hungry when I get tired so I just go to bed and the problem is solved.......... But if I feel like munching I eat sunflower seeds............ they are good in protein.............I just try and get my protein in and my water in along with some fiber............Not for sure on the cal intake!

Hair loss some........ I am taking prenatel vits a few times a week for that ............ My hair dresser told me to message you scalp to help stimulate the blood flow for prevention of hair loss! Have a great day!

Geeesh. I can't believe that it will be 4 months tomorrow!
I know I don't exercise enough ... that has to change. My days are so long at work and I work 6 days a week that the idea of exercise is .... anyway ...
I have lost about 55 lbs and can eat most anything. I still can't drink milk but can have milk byproducts, go figure. I get at least 3 protein shakes in a day and struggle to get 800 calories in. I know I need to get more water in.

I can barely get in 800 calories a day and struggling with the water. I am curious as to how many calories we should be getting in.
And no night munchies ... but then I never had them.

Topic: RE: hair loss
I mentioned the hair loss to my MD on Friday and he ordered a zinc level which came back a little low. He recommended a zinc supplement and come back for another level in a couple of months.

Hi all...
Overall I feel good, though still waiting for the energy surge I have heard about. I am down 46 pounds since surgery, 77 pounds since initial consult. I can eat just about anything in moderation. I can get all my fluids in (either water or crystal lite) and walk at least 3-5 days per week along with strength training. My hair has started to fall out. My zinc level came back a little low, so I will have to start a supplement. I still do one shake a day for breakfast and get a total of 70-90 grams of protein a day.

On the 19th it will be 4 months for me. I have lost about 80 pounds so far and hope to lose another 40. My diet consist of cottege cheese and yogert. I drink two protein shakes per day and drink lots of water. I have had two operations and 3 scopes. Go back to the hospital tomorrow for my 4th scope. The DR. will try to dialate out to 12 mm and see how that works. Other than the above everything is going great. Off all medications and blood pressure is way down. I do enjoy being outside so much more this year and walk about 2 miles a day.
