I have lost 91 pds since Jan ,I went from 24 at 245 pds to 8/10 and 154 pds.I eat carbs very moderately,but I do eat fatfree popcorn,fatfree pretzels,,whenever I get cravings.I dont eat potatoes,fried foods,sugar,butter,rice,pasta or sweets.I exercise and take my supplements.The best thing to do is eat protein first then veggies ,alot of salads,protein bars,high protein foods fill you up,once you have exercised,ate protein and you still want a few carbs I say go for it.Calorie intake is how we lose weight,not just carbs,total daily calories are more important.You should put protein first,but some carbs are good for you.The glycemix index can tell you about good carbs,and weigh****chers has info on them too.They also keep your serotonin levels from dropping keeping you from feeling depressed.i had this surgery to learn to treat my body better and eat healthy for life,not do atkins forever.I have read a healthy diet includes all food groups in moderation,just small portions,dont over eat,dont eat when your not hungry and stay active.Good luck

I've been wearing my old underpants (sz14) since I've had the surgery, which was risky, but I worked through it. I marched with my Nursery School children in our Memorial Day parade and I had to pull the underpants up and tuck them into my bra band and straps. It was ridiculous. So I have finally bought new ones and tossed the others. Size 9's. They fit fine....amazing. I have no clue how much I have lost because I haven't been to the doctor since PO month 2 and I don't have a scale, but underpants don't lie. Hooray for panties!!! Yay for all of us.
