Topic: Umm... libido problems?
Kind of an embarrassing question, but... I noticed that right after my surgery, my libido/sex drive skyrocketed. And lately, the past month or so, it's been... well... flatlining, totally, to put it plainly. Sure, I'm a little stressed from work issues, but I don't think I've been depressed or anything. I've been a bit irritable. A little low on energy. But not being able to respond to my loving guy when all he wants is a hug? I don't want to be touched, even! Have you all noticed anything like this happening at about this stage? Is it just that my hormones are out of whack maybe? I started depo provera 3 months ago, but I've been on it before and don't remember it doing this to me! Is this normal? Kathie

Hey everyone, I never posted here because i didnt think anyone posted out of the main message board, and here it is ya'll postin away. Well I had my surgery months ago and as of today have lost 103 pounds to my suprise. I recently started going to the gym and have been taking spinning classes that i enjoy emensily (sp). I still have 67 pounds to go but i cant wait to see a size 12-14 that would be awesome. THe only thing is my stomach just doesnt want to go down, i mean it has ALOT but thats where all my weight that is left is at.. So i started doing a 120 crunches every other day, but i work out everyday. TOnning and cardio, and cardio and cruches... I hope this helps and works because im tired of this belly already..... sorry to blab hope to talk to you soon Betty

Went to the doctor on Monday for my six months check up and have lost a total of 108 pounds, with 42 more to reach my goal. Dress size from 26-28 to 14. No more aching knees, I feel great and have had no problems with this surgery. I do however still have trouble eating meats, but can tolerate just about anything else. This surgery was the best thing I could have done for myself.

Well, Kim and I share this monumentous date (also surgeons, etc.). All of my general goals have been met: Fit in the airplane seat on the trip to Texas (no problem with room to spare). Cancel all plus size clothing catalog subscriptions (done, even Junonia which I thought I would still need for sport bras). Get a REAL sport bra (from a place named Athleta-awesome place so check it out on line). Climb trees with my children, hike, canoe, swim our 2 mile lake (all now part of a normal week-I can lap the lake for hours). My goal weight is 156 as per my pcp's med chart. A month ago I was-98 pounds (started at 316) and it's been a good month. I don't even think about my numbers, though. I'm too busy living well. Through this process I have been freed from my food/weight/size addiction. Thank God. I've learned much from you all, and can't wait to read our one year comments. Amazing journey, isn't it? My mother had her surgery a year ago in may and after she had hers she lost 84 lbs in 3 months....It did come off rather quickly, but she seems healthy enough. I haven't dared to hope for size 8's yet. It just that my mind won't let me. And of course it depends on the style of jeans, b/c I tried on a size 6 in Levi's and they fit great. Imagin that me in a size 6....It's almost too much to bear. We shall see! 72 lbs down and 28 to go! Stacy 220/148/120ish
