Congrats on you surgery! Care to share how much more weight you lost with this procedure? Did it go as well as your WLS? Is this all you are planning to have tightened? V.

I need some advice! First of all is it possible for your pouch to stretch? If so, how do tell or know? I had surgery January 21, 2004 and the last 3 months I seem to eat a lot more and I crave sweets (especially chocolate and cookies). I did not eat chocolate before surgery. I started @ 248 and now am at 132! I was down to 124 in May and was happy with that weight. I broke my right foot in September and was in a cast for four weeks, so couldn't excerise. I have just started training for my two 1/2 marathons this spring. After my hernia surgery in June I got down to 121. I feel fat! I want to have a tummy tuck in the worst possible way, but I don't think my insurance will pay for it and I don't want to be off work for any length of time. On the brighter side of things. I now have a man in my life! He is sooo sweet. We just started dating December 31. What a way to start the New Year. Hope everyone else is doing great! Kimberley 248/132

Well, I notice alot of us are now on the plastic surgery part of our weight loss journey. I am having my tummy tuck and breast lift with augmentation done on January 12th. Wish me luck. I am nervous but know it will be worth it once the recovery part is over. Melissa 277/130

I am having a tummy tuck and breast lift with augmentation done on January 12th. I am a little nervous about it being a day surgery. The doc said it will take 5 hours to do all the procedures. But it is outpatient. Amazing how they get you in and out these days. I am dreading the drains and soreness, but I know it will all be worth it in the end. Melissa 277/130

Wait... you CAN get plastic surgery out of Kaiser???? Who do you have to see to do that?? I talked to my primary, and she told me not to even bother, it's impossible. Is there someone other than your primary that you have to go through? Whoa... maybe there IS hope after all... Kathie

Had surgery on Dec 16th. The surgery went well. Can't wait to go back to work, getting bored sitting at home! My incisions are from hip to hip, then up to my breast bone. They pulled everything up and in toward the middle. I have been doing pretty good not alot of pain. Just been sore the last few days. I hope that everyone has a Happy New Year!

My surgery was approved right away......... I think it depends on how your sergeon writes it up. I did not have a rash!
