Hey.I started out at 5 ft 9,245 and I am now 138.I had surgery Jan 14.I say yes its very possible to lose it by September, keep up protein ,water and exercising.I have been holding tight at 138 for about 2 weeks? But I have a hernia and tt on 27th which might help few pounds,I have been in pain from my hernia getting big and pushing on my insides so I can honestly say I am not working out as hard as I was before.I still walk, count calories ,but I definietely eat more things then I did ,just littler portions.Like I will order nachos eat 5 then be satisified. My goal weight was 150 ,so I am a little under But I changed it to 135,so I consider myself doing pretty good.If I can maintain at 138 I will be very pleased as I am size 6 and some 5s now.So just keep plugging and congrats on your loss!

Hi, I new, my name is Lorie. I had my surgery Janurary 29th if this year. I am doing the same thing. For about 3 weeks now I lost nothing. I have a friend who had her surgery 1 year ago Jan. and she said sometimes your body is trying to ajust to the weight. She said I will have several "stuck" modes. I know thats not much consulation, but at least know it's not anything you are doing wrong. I do my protein drink and also drink crystal light because water is blah! It will happen Cindy. My friend is 136 now and doing great. We are going to be right behind her Praying for all of us Lorie

90 lbs is a great loss in 6 months, don't be discouraged, also keep in mind exercise builds muscle, which weighs more than fat. So keep on keepin on. you are doing great.

I am stuck. I am stuck at 205. I can not make the scale move. I have been stuck there for like a month now. I have picked up on the protein drinks again and make sure I always eat my protein first. I have trouble with the water but am going to MAKE myself start drinking more water every day. Anyone got any suggestions to help me! THank you all, Cindy

Topic: Is this really possible?
I had my 6 month follow up last week and although my Dr said I need to eat more and exercise more I'm doing pretty good. But he had set my goal weight at 142 all along and now he is saying 137. Well, that's only five lbs so no big deal really. But the big issue I have is he expects for me to be at my goal weight by my 9 month anniversary. I know a lot of the girls on here are already close to their goal weight (my hat is off to all of you) however, I have not been one for losing THAT fast. I still have 45 lbs to go. SO can this really be accomplished in the next 3 months? I have been really exercising a lot and trying to eat more. My calorie intake has just flat out been way too low! I know that and I'm trying to up it because he said that will help me lose faster again. I'm trying to make this happen but I don't know if it's possible considering I've been losing slow for the last 3 months. Maybe the exercise and extra calories will help???? Char 269/182/137
