Topic: RE: Any one else feeling nausious?
Yes, I constantly feel nausious. After I take a Tagament (acid reducer), I feel a little better, but for the most part, I feel sick. I figure it will go away eventually. It gets a little easier every day. Just depends on what I eat, when I try to eat and how much. Tracy Lynn Lap RNY 1/30/2004 Dr. Potts

Topic: Finally the scale moves on down!.......
Plateau's! Gosh! I hate them! I know we all do! Well, finally this morning my scale did a nose dive and said "179". That is a total loss of 90 lbs for me. YAHOO! I know I"ve been losing inches lately which is great too. I swear this morning when I was getting ready for work, I had to try on several different pants to find one I could stand to wear. Pants that I just wore last week looked awful on me today. How can that be?! I've spent so much money on work clothes and I'm trying to just get by with a few items, but I can't believe that in two months I've shrunk out of all my pants. I have been really into exercising everyday now. I walk almost 4 miles every night. It feels so great when I'm done. Of course, the 105 to 110 degree weather at night makes it tough but I will conquer! But I think it's the exercise that is making me drop these inches all of a sudden. Hope everybody is doing well! I haven't had it last 5 days, but there have been a couple days in a row from time to time where I just felt rotten. I do know for me though that if I am the least bit dehydrated, I feel horrible. So make sure you are drinking lots of water. I drink about a gallon of water and crystal lite every day. If that nausea continues though, I would call your surgeon and let them know. You don't wanna go too long feeling icky. Take care! Char

Topic: RE: Just found this board
Hi Sandy, Welcome!! I think this board is one of the most supportive I have found since everyone on this board is at approx the same place in our journeys. Makes it a bit easier to relate sometimes. I had my surgery on 1/12/04. Started out at 304 and am now at 188. Feeling better and having all this energy is the best feeling in the world!! NOT shopping in the Womens dept anymore is a side benefit. I am glad you found this board too!! Kudos on your journey so far and I wish you continued success! Dont be a stranger. We all want to know how you are doing!! Hugs, Harriet 304/188/150ish
