Hi all!
I didn't think this day would EVER get here! My scale read 199 this morning!!!!! YEAH!!!! Now - I'm sure it will toggle back and forth because it has been doing that for the last month with the last 5 pounds, but at least it was here! I should have taken a picture of it! LOL
My doc & I decided that 170 or lower was a good weight for me. It was both realistic and attainable, and even more importantly, one that I can maintain over the long haul. I have a large frame and am gaining a whole new set of muscles, so I look great already (as long as the clothes are on! - hehehehe). I might try to aim for 150 as I first wanted - but anything under 170 is icing on the cake!
PS - I got the traveling HR Consultant job that I was trying for. I start on Aug. 25 in Tennessee for 3 weeks then I'm off to meet the world! I'm so excited!

I'm with you - I have been eating real meals, just in smaller portions. For instance, if I am at my family's house for dinner (every 2 weeks or so), I will eat 3 oz steak, 2 or 3 oz broccoli, bite or two of potatoe and some salad.
If I stop for breakfast at McDy's (rarely) I will order a ham, egg and cheese bagel minus the sauce. I eat (over an hour or so) all the ham, egg and cheese and one side of the bagel. Maybe not even that much of the bagel. But then I am full till well after lunch and may not eat until 2 or 3. It all depends. Some days I will eat really good, some days I will just eat good snacks through out the day, and some days (like today) I am happy with a peanut butter and jelly sandwich on 3 seed wheat bread and a glass of milk with 85 oz of other liquids and some watermelon at night.
I just feel like my body will tell me what it needs. It mostly wants fruit, veggies and meat.

I can understand! My scale had FINALLY dipped below 200!!!! I have been a slow loser and finally the scale decided to wiggle past 200. I don't know why but my body fought the last 4 pounds for a month!

I must be the only one psycho about measuring, I measure EVERYTHING, so far I have lost 3.25" on each upper arm, 1.50" one each fore arm, 2.0 on the neck, 6.25 l thigh 7.5 r thigh, 2.50 each calf, 8.75 breast, 7.25 chest above breast 9.0 upper stomach, under breast, 8.0 waist, 13.0 hips, 10.5 butt, and a couple other areas for a total 99.25 inches lost. I told you I was psycho about it
I measure once a month, and when the pounds slow down, it is very uplifting just to look back at these #'s. If there is anyopne else that measures a lot I 'd like to know how you are doing too. I am down 102 lbs.

You are able to drink soda............... My surgeon said I could never drink soda again! You are doing great on the wieght loss............ You will get there just give it time!

Can't answer your question regarding significant other, as I don't have one! Hopefully, my WL will help get me one, although, I've been alone for sooo long it would be hard. But, I would like someone for campionship.
