Hi Catherine, No you're not the plateau queen! We are going through this especially now that we are past the six month mark! I have been stuck for over four weeks now. I keep going up three pounds, then down the same three pounds! Drink more water and walk is what I was told! I was also told to put the scale away and write down everything that you eat for a few days. It could be that you're eating the wrong foods or too much of one thing. I also found these two websites that are supposed to be plateau breakers. I haven't tried this yet, but it's worth sharing! These are diets that you only do for seven to ten days. http://www.digitalhorsewoman.com/plateaubusting.htm http://www.lowcarb.org/stillman.html Good luck Catherine! Hopefully both of us will get off this plaueau soon! Kasey

Hi Everyone, Well I'm still bouncing up a couple of pounds and then back down again. It has been almost 8 weeks! No matter what I try I'm stuck! Please tell me I haven't broken the record for Plateau Queen. Congrats on all you Centurians, and everyone else. Got my pic in so you can see me now! Tell me your longest plateau and how you finally broke it.

Well, I weighed in this morning @ 142.5 lbs. Lost two more pounds. That's a total of 105.5 lbs.! It's now coming off slow! Last month (August) I only lost a total of 7 pounds! I hope I don't lose less in September! I only have 17.5 lbs. to get to my goal of 125! I have a visit w/my surgeon this afternoon. I had my picture taken last night, my whole body in one pant leg of my old jeans! Unbelieveable!! I went from a size 22/24 to 6/8. I'm in shock! My goal was a size 8, but I really thought I would have to get to at least 125 to wear that size! Best of luck to all of you on your WLS journey! Kimberley 248/236/142.5/125 Some day I hope!

I'll be going in for a hernia repair in Oct or Nov. I pray you heal fast and are on your feet soon. I have lost 106 pounds since my surgery, glad to see you also passed the century mark. I read your profile you seem like a wonderful lady, God bless you and your family.
