Congratulations! Way to go, girl! I also lost 104 pounds since my surgery. It is the most amazing experience of my life. Like you I am over 50, but still going strong! It is so easy to walk now, I used to do 1/2 a mile before surgery, now it is easy to do 2.5 miles each day. Pretty soon I'll be up to 3 miles. My physical goals just keep getting easier to attain, and my new wardrobe is coming along, but I still have to get a winter coat. Bye, Sue

That's it!
I'm going to go get them today! I've been looking for a good portable shake for things like snacks, breakfasts, etc. I travel for my job and don't always have access to a blender for the ones I can tolerate well enough to drink without gagging.
I've also tried some protein bars and they either taste like cardboard covered with mud - or they make me queasy. So I'm going to try them today!
Thanks for the tip & God bless!

Cindy,
I know what you mean - I've had to by undergarments a time or two already. I like that feeling - but man, it sure can get expensive and those aren't things that I want second hand!
Congrats again & God bless!

Sarah,
Congrats on the weight loss and on the shopping spree! What a cool feeling to be in a size that you never were before. I can't wait to get to that point. I am able to check my pictures against different time frames in my album against what weight & size I was. I'm still not where I wanted to be at this stage - but I haven't worked on it religiously in the past 3 months or so. My life has taken aome DRASTIC changes in stress level, medication, career, and now I travel on top of it. So I hope to get back on course soon!
Great job and God bless!

Hi Susan,
I agree with Lori. It took alot of courage to write this and I hope you find lots of support among the amos board and your support group meetings. Some people would not be able to admit they have an eating disorder.
Take each day one at a time. I have two major concern. One is the surgar that you are consuming. I understand the need for a bit of choc. However do not buy regular m&m's but surgar free choc pieces. and the 2nd one would be the grazing. Grazing is a way to out eat the surg. before you pop that choc. in your mouth think about how far you have come and what you want to achieve. I think if you limit your meals it will only make you hungry and you will revert into that old diet habit. Repeat we are not on a diet we eat healthier and are healthier
Head up and if you ever need to chat i am here.
