Happy Aniversary!
Hi Celi, I am two years out this January 29th......I started at 321 and am now 180-186. I think this may be it unless I get myself more motivated to step up to a more agressive exercise program or cut the carbs.....some things I may need to change. Other than that, I am very happy to have had this surgery. I could have never lost this 120 something pounds on my own. I am worried about the future, though. Seems many bariatrics develop problems 3 to 10 years out. Some are minor problems, others are major. But I live every moment for now and I am not looking for trouble. I keep pretty much on the straight and narrow with protein first and I still drink one to two shakes a day for added protein supplementation. I get my blood levels checked twice yearly and have had good results. So, from my mouth to God's ears, let us all be well and continue on our journeys without complications....
Regards, Midge
I am very happy to read your post. I am doing ok. I have lost 160 pounds but I am still battling eating disorders but hey I am grateful for all the weight I have lost. I am eating pretty much everything but try to stay away from Carbs and sweets because they are very hard for me to digest. I hope you keep on with the good work and wish you the best.

Happy Anniversary to all you Jan. patients. 2 years, wow! Seems like not so long ago. I am having a couple of problems. I may have a stricture, trouble eating all of the sudden. I also noticed some side pain, I still have my gall bladder. Indigestion too. So I guess I will make an appointment real soon. I am down 135 lbs now. I started at 260 but lost some before surgery. Feels great to come from a size 22-24 to a size 6-8! Best wishes to all of you!
