Food choice?
Ok here goes, I know curiosity killed the cat but I want to know
My friend *****cently had RNY just like me, say's yuck at some of the stuff I eat,
so I want to know what people think... I don't eat it all the time but at least three times a week I eat stewed Tripe, or sautéed calf's liver with onions, or stewed Pigs feet flavored with pumpkin (I don't eat the Pumpkin) or chicken necks with chicken hearts, lox with cream cheese, veal parmesan and as a treat I love blood pudding, now like I said this is not all I eat, but it is a part of my diet.. I know some of these are high in protein. Is there anyone out there who eats these types of foods??
And what do you think?
sorry i don't eat those type of things but my family members love tripe i do eat pumpkin not alot but every now and then, blood pudding gonna have to google that one don't have the slightest clue as to what that is i have been very slack on my self and my diet with the holidays but now i am getting back on track with protein being the first and major item i ingest, is it hard yes, but the pay off is worth it,
but we all have different taste and we gotta eat what is good to us, so don't give the yuck a second thought and eat what you want in moderate portions. best of luck to ya

I am afraid to to ask, What in the world is blood pudding? I like chicen necks and chicken backs. The only pork I really eat is pork chops maybe once a year and ribs
I eat lots of meat for protein, lots of cheese, mushrooms, tomatoe soup with milk and cheese, pop corn, salads, coffee, coffee, coffee. I just started powdered protein. I checked this post out so that I could see what people are eatting. My band was loosed for about 6 mos. due to complications and so I resently got it filled. I have a lot of weight to lose so even though I was banded in 2004 I am starting over in 2006.
with Gods love and banding success/Coke
