Hi. I recently had an EGD which indicated my "pouch has atrophied to approximately 50-60cc and is 6cm long." Ok. 50-60cc is a little over a 1/4 cup. What's the deal? I've been having a very hard time of eating the amount of food we are told we "should" be eating and getting the required amount of protein on a daily basis. Now that we are 2 years out, does anyone know or remember how large our pouches are actually supposed to be? I had the EGD to rule out an ulcer which it did. Thanks for any information you can provide!!!!!!

Pouches are from .5 to 6 oz so at 2 oz. yours would be somewhere in the middle.

Pouches are all different depending on how your doc made yours. My doc makes them a little different than others do, they are more elongated. Just keep working with what you have. As for your protein intakes get back to the shakes. I am 2 years as well and don't eat as much as others at out stage. I also still do 2-3 shakes a day, if I didn't I would be protein deficient. Take care, I don't think you are so strange. Robin
