Challenge...new one for today!
Hello everyone,
I haven't been to this site in almost a year. My weight has been at a plataeu for almost 9 months. On the day of surgery I weighed 341 and today I weigh 177. I was so very motivated and lost all of the weight quickly, but have slacked off on maintaining good behaviors.
I can tolerate sugar without any problems, tootsie rolls are my greatest weakness for sweet cravings. I'm also a cheese addict. The only thing that I cannot eat is rice.
I would really like to lose another 40 lbs by this time next year, but most importantly, maintain healthy lifestyle behaviors.
I know that my sister visits weigh****chers sight daily and there are many challenges going on. I would love to have someone to do this with on this site. I figure we can post our goals for the week etc. every Monday under "Challenge" topic.
Anyone interested?
My goal for this week is to stop eating past 8pm, and to make sure I drink at least 6 glasses of water a day. No more tootsie rolls and no more overdosing on cheese, especially full fat.
I weighed in at 177.5 this am and will not weigh myself until next Monday when I post here again.

Hey there! We share the same surgery date and I understand where you are coming from about not visiting this site much anymore. I am down to about 168-170 but wish I could lose a bit more.
I dont have any prob with sugar either..at least not with small amounts. If I eat a snack size milky way (love em frozen), Im ok but anything bigger...I feel nauseous. The only other issue I have is with fat content. Cant tolerate much in fat or I get SOOO nauseated. I cant tolerate cheese at all at this point and eggs are difficult to get down too. Other than that I can eat just about anything ...just small amounts, which probably not a good thing. I havent had any followup with a surgeon becasue we moved righ after my surgery, but I am trying to get in with one here...I think I need a support group to help me stay on track.
Since I just read you post, I am a week behind in the challenge, but my goal for this week will be to cut back on empty carb consumption and eat protein first thing every day. ALso, take my vitamins faithfully every day!! I find I forget often. Lets see how well I do with that for a week.. let me know how you did this week.

I can eat candy to.............. Love it! I drink alot of water every day....... I try to limit the candy and find some sunflower seeds or something better for me to eat............ There are better food choices out there............ Find things with proteins even nuts are good. It is easy to fall back into old habits.............. Keep choosing good eating habits and stick to your docs diet and you will lose that in no time! I know you can do it!
