How do you maintain?
Hi, I am trying now to maintain my weight and still seem to be losing. Does anyone have any suggestions. I can't believe I am asking for help to keep from losing more weight but I am. I am 5'7" and 138 and more than happy to stay there and even gain a few pounds. Anyone who can tell me what to add to my diet would help a great deal. Thanks all, Denise
I am in the same boat 5'6" 136 lbs. I am under strict orders to gain at least 4 pounds. The way to do this is to eat more. You need to write down everything you eat daily and count the calories. I consume 3 proten shakes a day with 1% milk, eat something every 2 hours, and work on getting 1500-1800 calories per day. You need to eat higher calorie, denser foods. It is not easy to gain, I am having trouble. I am in contact with my dietician on a regular basis. I also am not to exercise per my surgeon, for now. Maintaining is difficult to understand because most people it seems don't become under weight if you will. Good Luck to each of you. Remember to eat healthy but increase your calories and you will maintain.
